Womens Euro 2025

He does all of the Women’s games for ITV, Matterface does the men. Similar to BBC who have Robyn Cowen commentating on the Lionesses in tournaments (though Johnathan Pearce did the Quarter final win) while Guy Mowbray does the men’s team in tournaments
Matterface definitely commented on a few matches in this tournament. Good that Hutch got to do the England matches though.

What does this mean, from wiki:

Although most national football teams represent a sovereign state, England is permitted by FIFA statutes, as a member of the United Kingdom's Home Nations, to maintain a national side that competes in all major tournaments, with the exception of the Women's Olympic Football Tournament. ?

Is it just saying England isn't a sovereign state?
It isn’t: the United Kingdom is the state. England is a nation that is part of the UK, with the latter having sovereignty over laws, foreign policy and whatnot.

It’s why at the Olympics people compete for the UK, and not England.

…..understand Kelly married one of the FF ground staff, not that that’s the answer to the question you asked
... Alex Scott's partner is Jess Glynne. They're both Arsenal fans and I'll probably meet both of them at my niece's wedding as Jess is going to be her maid of honour. Plenty of Spurs fans in my family but no Arsenal fans. It'll be an interesting reception.

Yes I know that, but I couldn't really get what the excerpt was saying.
