It will make some go that didnt go. just like a touch in 2022. I personally hope people are going to support the Girls and not going just for the sake of wanting to go Goodison ParkMight be a boost in attendances this season.
Doubt it in all honesty, the quality was sadly lacking despite the hype and 'drama'Might be a boost in attendances this season.
Only reason they kicked off early at 5.00pm was in case it went to penalties....Doubt it in all honesty, the quality was sadly lacking despite the hype and 'drama'
Spain did my head in, pretty short passing but absolutely no idea in the final third. England are so limited it's untrue yet we'll hear about how brilliant they are til Kingdom come now. Don't get me started on them pass back penalties either!Only reason they kicked off early at 5.00pm was in case it went to penalties....
So limited that they won the final, I wish Everton was so limited.Spain did my head in, pretty short passing but absolutely no idea in the final third. Did you watch? They had one shot on target in 120 minutes of football. Just sat back and gave the ball away constantly. They're a good group for resilience but there was no talent in themSo limited that they won the final, I wish Everton was so limited.
I think watching Everton has totally blanked your mind as to what football is.....there's no other plausible reason for thinking that wasn't limited. So limited that they won the final, I wish Everton was so limited.
They won, that's all that matters. I bet Spain, who had the better chances, arguably more talented and favourites don't agree with your view.Did you watch? I've seen many, many worse games than this ; finals are rarely fast flowing, one touch passing, chances galore types of matches. All that matters is winning.I think watching Everton has totally blanked your mind as to what football is.....there's no other plausible reason for thinking that wasn't limited.

They drew if I'm being pedantic. Penalties are a bad way to decide a women's match as they are generally terrible at taking them. My point anyway is womens football attendances won't go up dramatically because people pay first and foremost to be entertained and if the world's best sides can't produce quality football on the grand stage then I doubt flocks of people will all of a sudden be inspired to go to the WSL games. As I keep saying womens football is a niche sport where families with young daughters make up the prominent fan base. Bringing in new fans from men's football won't happen for the above reasons I state. And to be completely honest I absolutely hate the hyperbole of the media towards it and the cringey 'Lionesses ' tag they useThey won, that's all that matters. I bet Spain, who had the better chances, arguably more talented and favourites don't agree with your view.
