For me this is yet another example of why, while I'll follow Evertons results, I'm unwilling to give club money. Everton are just taking advantage of fans loyalty, trying to make as much money off fans as possible, while at same time pretending we are people's club. It's amazing we have the support we have considering how terrible we have been to support in last 3 decades.Man City/Newcastle style takeovers prompting anti competition agenda from Premier League darlings Man Utd/Liverpool brought in PSR stuff under guise of sustainability.
I means clubs squeezing every penny from fans now for PSR.
It's all clubs, it's not aspirational. It's a real shame for football fans.
In reality, in the grand scheme of football - the revenue streams from the likes of this is nothing, but fans are now lashing out £60 per person, per season for a lottery.

Some folk say football has changed for the better? That nickname hasn't got much more shelf life in it.
The club fanbase is in the foothills of being socially engineered.
There'll be less and less locals at matches for sure.
Any understanding of where we get our core support (season ticket holders) underlines that we still incredibly have thousands still from deprived districts in and around the city of Liverpool.
The more cash is demanded from people who live in those areas the less justifiable it'll be to continue with their ever-present support for the club and the more corporate packages will snap up their seats.
We're on a slippery slope here and we all know it.
Great stadium. Fantastic location. And the club's profile will rise with it. But there's a massive price to pay.
For me asking fans to pay to watch meaningless pre season game was final straw for me. I think club are playing dangerous game tbh, if it wasnt our last season at GP, I doubt you would have had same demand last season. I think club will regret it in long run, Arsenal and City struggled to fill their grounds once novelty wore off.I always said leaving Goodison would be the death of the club as we know it.
We've seen it happening at other clubs for the last few years and now it's out turn. The club no longer sees us as fans, we are being reimaged as customers.
Having to pay for the pre season streams (previously free to season ticket holders) was the first canary in the coal mine.
Watch it become even more apparent as time goes on.
For a start, the club should be offering refunds to anyone who has signed up to this membership. They've been misled and let down.
As for the FAB, they are dealing with yanks and their new regime of yes-men now. It will all fall on deaf ears as $$$ is all they care about.
That last game at Goodison wasn't saying goodbye to the stadium, it was everything you loved about Everton being resigned to the history books.
Ballots good idea, random allocation of seats isn't. Someone who has always sat in Main Stand or Top Balcony, doesn't want to stand in South Stand lower. Ballots are fairer and discourage touts, but Evertons handling to ticketing affairs in recent years has been poor. But that’s exactly how it is isn’t it?
Those who “paid a bit more” can enter a ballot if they so wish and stand a chance of getting tickets, and now without the need to run the previous 10am Monday morning gauntlet on the website that literally everyone hated doing for various reasons and have been moaning about for years.
Those who didn’t pay a bit more,
can’t.
They’re not a totally random allocation, you choose your two preferred areas when entering the ballot (it’s unclear if this will be say an exact block, tier or stand), which the club will try and allocate to you if successful in the ballot, and you also have a choice of accepting or not anything you are offered outside of these two areas.Ballots good idea, random allocation of seats isn't. They would presumably nominate Main Stand or Top Balcony as there 1st and 2nd choices.Ballots good idea, random allocation of seats isn't. Prices will be announced tomorrow for each specific stand / block at the point of sale / entry to ballot. People will be aware of what price point they are requesting tickets for before committing to entering the ballot.Have they genuinely not announced what the prices will be yet? Despite people being able to enter the ballot tomorrow
I don't know why but when I read a lot of your posts I imagine them in the style of Ian PaisleyThat nickname hasn't got much more shelf life in it.

DaveK says NO
NO to exploitation.
It amazes me that there's fans of here who make a case for the club doing that.
They could change just about everything regarding prices and distribution and they'd wear it and support it.
It's unfathomable...and I have to say that there's the strong whiff of "I'm on the bus Jack, so shut the doors" about it.
I do get what you are saying and don't disagree but it's a tricky balance, Evertons previous lack of exploitation of the fan base, one of the largest and loyal in the land despite 30 years of nothing, is one of many reasons why we weren't able to compete - low season ticket prices, no membership aspect to purchasing tickets etc
For whatever reason demand for Everton tickets seems to have grown a lot in the last few seasons and the club are now making more money from the fans, my season ticket went up from 550 to 760 in a couple of years, it will go up more I'm sure - I don't feel exploited and am prepared to pay it as it stands
