What makes you say he is underrated? He is universally acknowledged as one of best 4 batsmen in the world.

Old Trafford pitch is crap, and has been for a few seasons now. Maybe that's why they haven't got an Ashes Test.

He’s constantly ranked as the ‘worst’ of the Big 4, but I’m having him over Kohli every time.

New Zealand don’t play enough test cricket to change that, however. Hence, underrated.

Yeah this test hasn’t been a great advert for OT. Both sets of batsmen seem to have had a comfortable time. They could probably play a sixth day without a result at this rate.

I guess the question is whether Stokes should have declared earlier and if his desire for a century clouded his judgement.

I don't think it would have made much difference. I've mentioned previously, four county matches at OT this season, all high scoring draws.

Been a great series so far imo. Both teams have played great stuff/backs against the wall cricket at times…but of needle as well.

India batsmen been great today. England a different team with a fully fit Stokes.
