Setback?I'm pleased to see a mature and measured response to this setback.

Moyes says it here, if the players continue to make mistakes like that they will be changed.... that is a warning to them all.
No player wants to come to a team who look like they'll be in a bottom of the table scrap and there's a possible risk of relegation, especially if they have options, which better players do. It's not as if we'll offer a ton of money more than their other options. This does make a difference.Nothing we didn't know before the game ,
Don't overreact .
Do you honestly think any player gives a toss about how a team is doing in a friendly.
You could look at it another way , any half decent player knows he gets game time if he signs.
You can't fix it overnight, new owners, board in place a few weeks as regards to tranfer team ect.
Especially with so many players out of contract all at once, thank the last board for allowing that to happen not this lot.
No later wants

Bournemouth have done brilliantly in appointing excellent managers over the last few years. Unless Iraola leaves, they'll do very well again this season. It's not that their players are better than ours; he just adds a lot of value to the team.

Sorry, sorry, utter catastrophe of a result that signals the untimely demise of Everton FC.Setback?
Yup, and people seem to forget it’s also a friendly for the other teams as well.I know it's a friendly and all that but that performance not a good advert for persuading potential signings to come and join us.
I would suggest that he has taken the youth players he feels are worth taking. Its a friendly competition. We looked by far the better team in the first half, then (I think) they changed almost their entire team before we made a single sub. Our most important players going forward were given minutes in the legs. I was encouraged by Barry's introduction. He looked quick across the pitch, hopefully we'll see more of him as we play the next game.Moyes looking well peed off post match, but still not sure why some more of the youth team lads never travelled, especially with the injuries etc.
Maybe so mate, and Moyes being the pragmatist won’t take players he has no intention of using, so I get that.I would suggest that he has taken the youth players he feels are worth taking. My takeaway from it is that we have an obvious need to improve, but also obvious area within which to make those improvements. Gives a clear idea on what has to be done.
And next week's lottery numbers?Going for 3-0 to Bournemouth.
Changed?
A minimal squad.
Right oh Dithers
I can’t remember how many times we’ve had terrible, terrible and preseason scores and results and a different performance on the first day of the season chill guys, honey. Penny says the sky is falling down. It probably isn’t.
