No issue at all with him. Thought he was very good first half. Couple of blocks away from scoring. And his link up play was fine.
The 2nd half needs an inquest not just for alcaraz. But for Everton as a team. He lost the ball for the 2nd goal but you shouldnt be conceding when you lose the ball 80 yards up the pitch. Theres lots of work for the opposition to still do.
He's a major player for Everton this season.

He's heads above what we've had in the midfield over recent years, he'd run that much in the first half that his legs had gone early on in the second but his fitness will come over the next three weeks. Also running around in near 100 degree heat can absolutely knacker you out no matter how fit you are, hence why Bournemouth replaced their whole team. If anything the lack of subs will have helped the fitness levels of our first 11 but the lack of subs should definitely have shown the management just how desperately we need to build the squad quickly before the season start.
