However we prepared with what we've got, which is dramatically short even for a pre season game. That's the bottom line. We've about 5 weeks to sort it (transfer window) and 3 weeks before Leeds.

Kinnear was waffling about the importance of the tour for the new players - but what new players? Barry? Travers? Who else? He was going on about the US as an important market. So why put on a show as bad as that?

They are miles behind where they need to be.

They were miles better than us straight from the kick off while we collectively ran out of steam. Then Diana Ross came on and scored a penalty past Pickford.

We are terrible every single pre-season. Not arsed in the slightest however bad it is (obviously I’m not watching).

Be more down to how we finish and play next season. Will be alot more tv games ect becuase of the stadium, i am still confident will be alot better ehen the window closes. 100% frustrated is this late in the window without key positins sorted but i still feel will get done

I do agree with you but do think taking part in this tournament or whatever it is, is to raise our profile in the states.

I'm not a bed wetter. With Tarkowski and Branthwaite as centre backs we'll be a completely different team.

Personally, I think it was madness this club traveling to the US for this when we have made such a mess of the window so far. We were simply not prepared, yet we have Kinnear telling us the US is "such an important market" for us. If it was that important, why are we reducing the value of our brand by performing like this?

I take little heed of pre-season matches, but we're miles off where we should be for late July.

The tournament was agreed in Feb/March i’d imagine Moyes & owners would have thought we’d have signed more by now to have made a good go at it.
