I hope the club aren’t letting Moyes down here.

I think he was promised substantial player investment this summer.

Currently, it’s not working out. Moyes seems a tad irritated by it all.

Going off that post match interview, he isn't gonna accept being judged on substandard players bought under previous regimes. Fair play to him.

Good interview from the Moyesiah. Snivelly Goebels was trying to get him off the subject of a small squad, but he wasn't really having it. I suspect he's very frustrated and, at this stage in his career, isn't reticent about saying it.

I like that.

Honesty from Moyes here. Clearly well aware of the work still needed..

He's extremely frustrated there. But good to see he's not trying to play down the problems. Even when the questions tried to get him to be positive, he wasn't having it.

Moyes has always been a no bs type of guy but I feel he pushed the company line more in the past. Does anyone else think he's much more open and willing to say what he really thinks this time around?

All waffle. Moyes, to his credit, is quietly stewing. "Let's be fair, it wasn't just because we had a few missing through injury..."

I realise that the market is tough for what has become a distressed brand in Everton. But nobody should be making any excuses for these Americans and their appointees. It's their job to sort it out. Up to now, people should be, at the very least, deeply skeptical.
