Everton 0-3 Bournemouth. Sat July 26th. 9 Pm.

Yeah I think this is a massive shot in our own foot here. I doubt we'll be getting many USA fans if we get battered in every game.
Be more down to how we finish and play next season. Will be alot more tv games ect becuase of the stadium, i am still confident will be alot better ehen the window closes. 100% frustrated is this late in the window without key positins sorted but i still feel will get done

The Tinfoil Toffee's are at it again....here we go, here we go, here we go.

I don't how some of you tie your own f'in shoes. Does Fletch from the ToffeeTV call-in's just have like 200 accounts on here?

Injuries, embarrassingly small squad, unfit, disjointed, no technical ability, can’t attack, can’t defend, can’t pass, devoid of ideas …… and outplayed and run ragged by a team that didn’t even break sweat or needed to get out of first gear.
That second half, we made Bournemouth look like champions league winners.

We looked like a team of substitutes with barely a sniff of premier league first team quality.

So, going by that poor show, we need a left back, right back, a central defender , 2 centre midfielders, a left winger and a right winger, just to look even close to being a professional football team.

Other than all that, things are looking great.

First half was decent and we looked much the better side; created a few chances, got into good areas, limited Bournemouth to pretty much nothing on goal.

Second half polar opposite. Players looked tired and whilst Bournemouth adapted to our unexpected shape, our players failed to respond and indeed in some cases (Alcaraz) even downed tools.

Positives: Gueye snapping into challenges recovering possession all over the park, Ndiaye first half was excellent, Barry coming on for his first minutes and looked keen & eager to impress.

Still a lot of work to be done in the transfer window.

First half showing of N'diaye the only bright spot for me, we looked okay in the first half, not great but okay, a complete capitulation in the second half after an awful error off Patterson gave them the lead. We need at least 3 starters brought in. Barry looked lively when he came on, I'll say it now looked a much more complete player than Beto in his cameo, good first touch, very quick and works his knackers off.
Alcaraz has to share the blame for that for his trampoline touch on the halfway line

Can't be exposing a back three like that

Nothing we didn't know before the game ,

How do you convince a Douglas Luiz, for example, or James McAtee to sign for us when we just lose.

Players will look at the build up to this season..... we are cursed, we are crap and will always be crap, seen nothing to suggest a new bright future.

You will say the owners, the stadium and increased revenue but that mean Jack until it puts better players on the pitch!
Don't overreact .
Do you honestly think any player gives a toss about how a team is doing in a friendly.
You could look at it another way , any half decent player knows he gets game time if he signs.
You can't fix it overnight, new owners, board in place a few weeks as regards to tranfer team ect.
Especially with so many players out of contract all at once, thank the last board for allowing that to happen not this lot.
