Everton 0-3 Bournemouth. Sat July 26th. 9 Pm.

First half showing of N'diaye the only bright spot for me, we looked okay in the first half, not great but okay, a complete capitulation in the second half after an awful error off Patterson gave them the lead. We need at least 3 starters brought in. Barry looked lively when he came on, I'll say it now looked a much more complete player than Beto in his cameo, good first touch, very quick and works his knackers off.

Result aside, the main frustration is injuries and lack of depth means we play a formation that we will probably not play against all season. Pointless to an extent. Also says a lot about the depth of our academy that there’s no centre back coming through that could step into a pre season friendly to keep our shape.

Minutes in the tank the only positive.

Need a LOT of players.

I think we just have to acknowledge where we are these days and that Bournemouth have been a much better team than us for a long, long time.

It's no wonder the signings have all dried up.
How do you convince a Douglas Luiz, for example, or James McAtee to sign for us when we just lose.

Players will look at the build up to this season..... we are cursed, we are crap and will always be crap, seen nothing to suggest a new bright future.

You will say the owners, the stadium and increased revenue but that mean Jack until it puts better players on the pitch!
