Everton 0-3 Bournemouth. Sat July 26th. 9 Pm.

Good first half, played some good football and looked the sharper of the two teams

The level dropped off in the second half as the running we put in in the first 45 hit the legs. Looked like Bournemouth had a rocket from Iraola at half time and were much more aggressive after the break. Think we weren't really alive to that and played into their hands by fannying around too much at the back. Didn't get Ndiyae on the ball enough either.

Individual errors coupled with fatigue and once they subbed the entire starting XI off they dominated

Not as bad as it looked, nor as some on here will make out, but pretty woeful nonetheless.

We'll get better

I thought the 1st half was decent, gifted them two goals and looked dead after 60 minutes, Garner was like the reincarnation of Tom Cleverley and McNeil would be a useful bench warmer if he had pace and a right foot, definitely need a few bodies in over the next couple of weeks

Terrible 2nd half. Yeah individual errors but right from the start of the 2nd half we looked off it. Which makes me wonder if Bournemouth got told to step it up at HT and we struggled there on in.
The obvious lack of depth aswell.
Typical Everton emotions. Ok for 45 minutes. Despair next 45.
Why have bournemouth. Average home attendance 11,000 got two players for every position who all look comfortable. We're 10 times the size of club and they're owning us almost every game in how to manage and mantain a squad that can play this game.

Nothing we didn't know before the game ,
We need players.
Charly looks totally unfit.
Tim isn't up to be starting.
Patterson isnt good enough
Said earlier on the second half would be intresting.
In that heat and nobody to bring on I suspected we would wilt.
We need an athleticism and statue in the middle of the field desperately.
This tournament is at the wrong time for us. No squad .
On a plus piont the owners have been left under no illusion what's needed.
We are heading for a rough start to the season.
