I'm delighted with Beto being our number 9.

For too long fans gave him a Niasse like reputation. Did my head in. Glad he got the chance to show what he could do for us otherwise it would have been another the club failed to utilise.

After years of watching him in Italy I said in September that if he was our main man he would get 10+ goals. He got 10 all comps. 8 in 15 starts in league.

25/26 #9 Beto is going to be even better.

I think a few of us could see he definitely had something to offer. Does he have flaws? Obviously. He's massive, quick, strong with a nuisance like, aggressive work ethic, and has goals in him. However, bearing that in mind; if he didn't he have other flaws (touch, passing etc) then he'd be a £100m player, but alas, he's not. Doesn't mean he's completely useless though, and by all accounts he's always striving to improve.

He has flaws, but he's definitely capable of producing moments in any game as far as I'm concerned.
