Yes, and amortised over the length of the contract etc etc. I think we all know this after the last 3 years of chaos. But can’t see us buying many more guaranteed starters if we spend £45m on a winger we desperately need the right, who is best on the left. Dont think that opinion is particularly worthy of a middle finger. We’ve spent years putting 10s on the right wing, second strikers on the left wing, CBs at RB etc etc. Just feels strange to make one of our biggest signing in the history of the club for the wing we have a couple of options, reducing what’s left in the cash kitty or PSR headroom for the opposite side where we have zero players at all, and the ones we had last year were crap.

I’d love him to come, clearly a talent. We should buy any player who is better than what we have. But we are not rich, we are richer.

Is it not fair to say we (the supporters) don't have much of a clue how much we can spend?

Why do you say hes better on the left?

He played on the left im sure in part because Cherki is best on the right
