Fair play to our recruitment team for going for players of the right calibre. Will be surprised if Chelsea don’t swoop in and buy their 34th player of the window just because they can though. Hopefully we can agree a fee at least.
We are desperately in need of a statement signing . Moyes comments are a tad concerning . Morale must be quite low around camp.
The club can’t really win in that regard though. We may well get gazumped by a CL club, but if he did go to say a Nottingham Forest, our fans would be kicking off that we “should be all over that”.

We must have his agreement or it makes no sense to bid.
It's why I mentioned Romano saying Forest had agreed on 1st July. You'd have thought they'd have checked with the player, too.
Unless of course, it was all nonsense. I mean, if Forest agreed a fee, then you'd have thought Everton would know what is needed.
