British and Irish Lions 2025

I was in Brisbane for last weeks game with my lad….Fantastic atmosphere all day, especially on Caxton St. SunCorp is a really nice stadium but I thought today was on a different level - what an iconic sporting venue the MCG is. Glad the Wallabies turned up and made a real game of it. I thought the bench got the Lions over the line in the end - Ellis Genge carried well, Kinghorn added a bit of zip where needed and Jac Morgan played an important cameo too. I now wish we had the chance to stay a few weeks longer than we did but could only get 3 weeks off work.

Diving and play acting seems to be getting a foothold in the sport. The governing body needs to get a grip on it before it becomes as pathetic as football.

Aki has been terrible again, should never be playing ahead of the scottish skipper
Nonsense, for two reasons.

1) The alternative at inside centre (Tuipulotu) is injured.

2) Aki was pretty good considering the utter rubbish he was being given to work with. The Lions' attacking shape fell apart today and too often Aki was left isolated and asked to break through three tacklers. The supporting forwards that should have been there were conspicuously absent - there's not a centre in the world who can beat three tacklers who are stacked up ready to hit him simultaneously. on one occasion the Aussies had FOUR guys waiting for him.

Be nice if he ran in line or made his tackles. Funny idea of 'pretty good'.

Thought it had been reported Tuipultou had recovered but was left out.
