Everton Ticketing Changes

So you could get two together to sit with your son?

Even if you could select your seat, the chances of nobody having selected the seat next to you before you are really slim.

If you can get a seat in the same block I've always found blues to be very obliging if someone needs a seat move to be near their kids.
I already have a seat with one of my sons…. Me, my wife and my eldest on the waiting list for 5 years. My youngest on the list for 4 years only not eligible for one.

Wasn’t going to turn down getting the 3 tickets but always though it possible to get another one and especially considering the seats next to us are free.

Understand about getting in same block but it is a stupid system and doesn’t benefit anyone.

My brother has got a ST for the first time this season, he's gonna sell it on and buy two through membership, resale or FB for him and his lad to sit together whenever he can because his lad is too young to sit on his own. Till his lad or Mrs get to the top of the ST list then they'll be able to get 2 ST's together, hopefully.

Fair enough…. Understand what you are saying now re selling on STs

But still not the point in what I would like to do and don’t understand any reason why you cannot select seats…..

What benefit does this bring to anyone?

The wider issue of not being able to select seats is probably for ease of allocation, the club is allegedly trying to make it fair by allocating tickets to those who haven't been lucky enough to get ST's. The FB+ members have paid £60 a year and there has to be some value/benefit in that subscription or nobody would pay it.

Total giraffe. You don’t flog something with one very clear set of rules, wait until everyone’s bought them, then change the rules.

Changed following fan engagement ? Only downhill from here, if this is how they operate.
So what do you think you were flogged exactly? Genuine question. Did you think a FB+ guaranteed you a ticket? If you didn’t, then my next question would be…

Would you prefer to have to log onto the ticketing website at 10am on a Monday morning along with 1000s of other FB+ members, wait in the Virtual Queue, wait to get assigned a slot on the website, then quickly try and select and buy your seat before someone else does, panicking at the risk of internet drop outs, IT glitches etc, before the tickets all sell out.

Or would you rather just spend 30 seconds popping in your customer number and selecting your preferred stand into a ballot, and waiting to see if you have any luck that way?

Because either way, there are no guarantees, but the ballot way would be much less stressful. People have been moaning about the stress and hassle of the 10am website rush for a few seasons now.

The rules for FB+ were very clear when they went up for sale. Not so sure if I would have paid it, had I known the new rules.

Right or wrong, you don’t sell something, then completely change the rules about what you’ve sold. You deffo don’t try to sell it as “following fan engagement”

That’s back to Headlock-gate level of comms.

Ask the club for a refund then.

I always said leaving Goodison would be the death of the club as we know it.

We've seen it happening at other clubs for the last few years and now it's out turn. The club no longer sees us as fans, we are being reimaged as customers.

Having to pay for the pre season streams (previously free to season ticket holders) was the first canary in the coal mine.

Watch it become even more apparent as time goes on.

For a start, the club should be offering refunds to anyone who has signed up to this membership. They've been misled and let down.

As for the FAB, they are dealing with yanks and their new regime of yes-men now. It will all fall on deaf ears as $$$ is all they care about.

That last game at Goodison wasn't saying goodbye to the stadium, it was everything you loved about Everton being resigned to the history books.

My own opinion is fans like you, should look at SeatUnique mate. No need for membership. Can book tickets for any game, whenever you like. So you have that certainty, without needing to pay for the chance to enter a ballot. Listings below - prices bounce about an change all the time, so maybe keep an eye;

So if you booked Everton vs West Ham yesterday, you'd have paid £99 per ticket. You'd get a £10 F&B voucher, and 10% off retail and 10% off stadium tour. That would work out better than paying £120 for a ballot, then hoping you get a chance to pay for a ticket each.

If I didnt have a season ticket, and only made 1-3 games a season, I'd use SeatUnique for 'off-peak' type games.

Helpful, thanks!

Buy two resell your own, if you're successful in the ballot?

I don't know for sure, but if you enter the ballot under your customer number and one child under theirs
This would be the only method I can think of. But, not sure a season ticket holder can enter the ballot? At least they have said that.
