Everton Ticketing Changes

My point was that it seemed to imply “a better chance” rather than “your only chance”.

The £30 membership seems to now be a glorified fee to use the resale platform.

Maybe I’m just being naive.
Yeah but that sounds more like an issue for those who bought FB, not FB+.

You’re right though, and I actually know of 3 people who have already phoned the box office today to upgrade their FB to FB+ for this very reason.

This is how I see it….

Transfer tickets and ST waiting list are the only benefits now for my 4yr old.

It’s only 40 pound tbf but at least we get a box of stuff in August.

If this goes ahead does amounting credits mean nothing?
Or does loyalty mean nothing from thus season?
Remember not all can afford a season ticket or ,if you include membership £100 for your 1st game.

Surely you enter the ballot with both yours AND your sons membership numbers and if successful you will be allocated tickets together.

I understand your frustration, but you will be able to select “two preferred seating areas”, and you won’t be obliged to accept anything outside of these areas if either of those are not available, so you’d know that the extra seat wouldn’t be THAT far away from your STs. Be interesting to see how specific the “seating area” requests will be, eg a specific block number would be much better than a specific stand etc.

Also couldn’t one of the adult STHs sit in the additional seat, and then your young lad sit next to the rest of the group?

Appreciate you would specifically want the seat next to your STs for your son, but even under the previous system of first come first served and choosing your own seat, the likely hood of being able to choose that specific one would be extremely slim. You’d be up against 1000s of others all trying to choose and grab a seat at the same time, so by the time you’d got through the Virtual Queue and got onto the website to buy, there’d be a good chance that specific seat had already been snapped up.

Not the same really is it….

Never had an issue getting tickets before so wouldn’t have this problem.

Don’t understand why you cannot select seats if successful.

Plus the whole thing is crazy anyway…. All of the available seating is either above the away fans or in the family stand.

Seems like this family stand area is just going to be full or randomly seated forever blue plus members.

Good that they kept this for families only as they said they would.

Honestly mate, if you thought just coz the seat next to your STs wasn't bought you'd have a chance of buying it for your son... you've no chance at all. Best would be to resell your ST and buy an extra membership to purchase 2 for you and your lad to sit together or let him sit as part of the three and someone else sit elsewhere. Demand is gonna be crazy in the first season.

Why would I resell my ST. What a stupid suggestion.

There is no reason why I would have an issue considering there are 100s of available seats around me.

Just stupid that you cannot select your seat. Strange decision by Everton

Well you can’t buy an Adult ticket in the Family Stand unless you’re accompanying an under 18, so it’s not like it’ll be full of single adults in there.

Where are your STs out of interest?

So you could get two together to sit with your son?

Even if you could select your seat, the chances of nobody having selected the seat next to you before you are really slim.

If you can get a seat in the same block I've always found blues to be very obliging if someone needs a seat move to be near their kids.

How are they going to fill the stands?

Family stand and above away fans are the only areas available.

They cannot fill the family stand with only adults plus under 18s, especially in a ballot situation
