Anyone ever been to The Plasterers in Hoylake? If you haven't, I'd recommend it if you live over that way or are there: great pub with top ale.
I have! My folks moved there a few years back and my old man likes it, been a few times.
It wouldn't be my first choice to be honest, Black Toad is the best selection in town on any given day, and The Ship at the top of the street would be my go to for a traditional boozer.

Interested to see what the new place on the high street shakes out like.

To my mind the Ship is a bog standard pub, that is all.
