New Kits 25/26

Could become a bit of a cult item in Ireland if he actually makes some kind of impact in Rome.
Not for me. I'm a Lazio head. 😃

Long story but I was in Rome in 08 with a choir. We were free from midday Sunday so I went to see the bianco celesti in a nothing end of season game against Livorno.

I was wearing my Dublin GAA jersey (Sky Blue) and was let in free and welcomed with open arms by the supporters on the Curva Nord - there was a small crowd so plenty of room.

I didn't realize tickets should be bought in advance at a ticket office well away from the stadium. No cash at turnstiles. I explained that I was Irish and didn't know this, when a beaming steward waved me through free. Must have enjoyed the Irish supporters at Italia 90 😀

Having a beer afterwards I had to pose for photos withall sorts of Lazio fans, Dads with their kids, ultras, some tasty ladies, as they really took to the Dubs jersey - not sure if they understood Gaelic Football!!

Anyway, I've had a soft spot for them since...yes I know all about the politics in Italian soccer...

BTW Roma are unusual in having hard left AND hard right ultras.

The BR family were also made very welcome by Juve fans when Rovers played there in August 2010. It was played in Modena as Juve's stadium was under construction. It lashed all day and evening and we got saturated.

Only lost by a Del Piero wonder goal on the night, but 0-3 on aggregate.

So a bit of a soft spot for Juve too.

That's one hell of a shirt.
