No it wasn’t, the club just said FB+ would be the top “Priority access”, this does not equate to “first come first served” or a guarantee of a ticket, and the club never implied it would. If people bought a FB+ on the assumption that it would guarantee them a ticket, that’s not the club’s fault. All FB+ going into a ballot is the fairest thing to do, and removes all the usual 10am website nonsense that people were continually moaning about last season.
People have also suggested that Everton should have capped or limited the number of FB+ memberships… but then you would just have had the people who missed out on buying one saying “why did they cap the number of FB+ memberships, now I have no chance of getting a ticket at all. This club’s a joke. I’m disgusted!”.
What we’re doing now is what practically every other well supported club does, where demand outstrips supply. Name me one big team in the Premier League and I am confident that it is likely that they have the same situation regarding membership levels / ballots. A ballot for all top level members is by far the fairest way of doing things, but still people still find a way to moan and whinge about it.

. The club literally can’t win as far as some of you are concerned.
