Everton Ticketing Changes

So there’s me, my Dad and brother who have been actively going to the match whenever we can for donkeys years. We have attended games together as we have been on the season ticket waiting list and the supporters club for I think 4 years now. We have all just paid for the new membership to now be told we may never be able to get a ticket for a game/together. What a joke. A complete and utter kick in the face. Feel like cancelling my membership and asking for a full refund. It was sold to me that I would have priority access, turns out I don’t.
You haven’t been told that at all though have you.

It clearly states you can order as a group of up to 6 eligible members. You and your Dad / Brother all have memberships, so you can apply as a 3. If your group is successful, you will all get tickets, and I am 99% certain that these would be sat either together or extremely close to each other.

Ignore above - I'll be okay tomorrow.
File this away for future use.

I think last season there was a bit of an artificial increase in members buying tickets too, for a couple of reasons.

First being the obvious one… it was the last season at Goodison, so everyone was desperate to get to as many of the last few games as possible.

And secondly, last season EFC were operating the priority window to those with 15+ home credits from the previous season, and a lot of people thought that would continue into this season (which is hasn’t). So some were buying tickets for every home game, just for the sake of it, just to keep their “home credits” up, and were then selling them on to others.

I think this season, as there is no real incentive to being a regular match goer, people will be more selective in what games they attempt to buy tickets for, especially once they have their first game at BMD in the bag.

I can see FB+ members having plenty of joy in the ballot in all honesty, and as the season progresses, more and more games going down to FB sale on the Friday too.

Yeh I'd be shocked if a FB+ member doesn't get a ticket for any game they want to go to.

What an absolute joke this is….

Why can you not pick a seat??

We have 3 STs as my youngest was only on the waiting list for 4years.

I was hoping that some games we could get the seat next to us which remains free, but this clearly is not the case and if we are lucky in the ballot then he will be assigned some random seat in a block.

So will get a randomly selected seat for our 4yr old.

Fantastic..

Good one Everton..

You do have priority access. Priority ≠ guarantee.

What exactly were you expecting? That there’d be a limit of 10,000 forever blue plus members? No one gave you any indication of that being the case.

(For the record, I’m in the exact same position as you except I’ve been on the waiting list since 2018. This will be my 5th year of official membership).

Really don’t get the annoyance. Don’t understand why anyone thinks there’s anything unfair about a random draw.

Hey, I’d love it to be done in order of how long you’d been waiting on a ST, I’d get a ticket for every game. But it was never going to be that.

According to the changes announced earlier… unless it goes on general sale, you can only select areas / blocks.

Seems the only reason we paid for a forever plus membership is to remain in the ST waiting list. No other benefits now
There are other benefits. You get in the first ballot. That’s priority. Which is what was promised.

I wonder how it will work for me as a season ticket holder with a child as a member.

He can’t buy a ticket on his own (rightly, he’s too young)

Does he go in the ballot and once successful i get moved to by him?

Do I have to go in the ballot?

Massive gap in this for the next generation really

Buy two resell your own, if you're successful in the ballot?

I don't know for sure, but if you enter the ballot under your customer number and one child under theirs

Yeah sorry, I was referring to you knowing the seat next to you was free. How do you know that for certain?
