The system doesn’t really work. I go to all the home cup games and I’ve got a ST. The only way I’ve managed to get to an away game recently is by buying a spare. So I don’t get a credit for going but the person selling it to me does. The answer eventually will be a system that tickets are linked to individuals and can’t be passed on.
Biggest myth going this. 90% of the people you see week in week out are the same faces.Except half the people who buy them miss most of the games and sell them on.

How have you got to that figure?Half of them aren't the actual buyers of ticket tho. They just get it off someone.
How have you got to that figure?
Guess work then, thought so.Probably the same way the other chap got to 90 percent being same faces.
So 1500 people are selling on their away tickets every other week ? Not a chance.Probably the same way the other chap got to 90 percent being same faces.
As someone who goes to every away game, and has done for the last 25+ years, I know it's not just a guess.Probably the same way the other chap got to 90 percent being same faces.
To support this, have a look at how many people are asking for Leeds tickets. If everyone was buying and selling, there would be no demand, as they'd be freely available on a "secondary" market. So 1500 people are selling on their away tickets every other week ? Not a chance.

Exactly, lots asking, no supply. Yet your claiming that half the people sell them. So where are all the tickets that are being sold?I've seen four coach companies asking for spares.
Supporters club distribution. Between friends and close networks. I would say most won't pass them on outside a trusted group.Exactly, lots asking, no supply. Yet your claiming that half the people sell them. So where are all the tickets that are being sold?
I don't disagree or deny that that happens. My response was to the comment about "half the tickets". As I've said multiple times previously, this is much more rife for home games, to the extent the club has a portal to allow people to do it, yet that isn't constantly argued about.Supporters club distribution.
