2024/25 Jarrad Branthwaite

I’d rather he have the surgery he needs and be out for a few months and come back fully fit than play whilst he’s partially injured

We’ve seen numerous players try and play through the injury barrier and their long term health has been affected such as richarlison

I'm not sure whether this happening now to Jarrad Branthwaite is a good thing or bad, as getting a full preseason under the belt is vital to bringing players back up to speed after the end-of-season break. However, it has happened now, so hopefully he'll have a full and speedy recovery; we don't want to see the lad sidelined until October/November.

Michael Keane is going to have to step in and step up.

Hopefully Tarks will get a run out in the States and we see him and JOB starting against Leeds.

But also means Patterson or we get our fingers out and get a RB in….

I guess it’ll be Patterson.

I’m not sure why this thread is taking the view that this implies a significant period out. Is it because, in the recent past, Everton has used terms like “minor niggle” to avoid telling the truth about a player’s condition? Maybe that’s no longer the case and maybe it is just a minor niggle?

Two weeks since we signed Barry and all we've produced is a back up keeper.

It's pretty pathetic really when you look at it.

Can't be having that gap between each signing. The next batch of signings need to be quick fire, otherwise it's strap in for a deadline day trolley dash for leftovers
