Everton Youth Teams Thread

We need him as we have a shortage of players.

But Onyango should be signing and training with Stockport to get ready for their season. If he gets a long term injury playing for Everton...then what?

We'd likely nurture him, allow him to use our facilities for rehabilitation and then send him on his way to League 2 as a free agent whenever he's fit.

If he was going to Stockport and hes out of contract, isnt it weird he's not moved already?

What possible benefit could there be to him going on tour without a contract instead of integrating himself into the new squad?

Maybe he signed a new contract. He’s not listed as a free agent. There’s nothing official about him moving to Stockport, nor Dixon, just that they had a trial game.

Announced at last. Which I think just leaves Onyango as the only contract mystery now.

Strange one as we've got Pickford and Doug coming through so not sure why Barnsley is being retained as he's not going to make it whilst Pickford and Doug seem to have some promise so they should be getting game time in the under 21s and not Barnsley

I have the sneaking suspicion that Barnsley and Pickford will be the tandem for the U21s, at least for the first half of the season, and Luckj/Seve will be the tandem for the U18s. The club really doesn't seem that enthralled with Eze.
