Away game ticket sales

My lad has taken years to build his credits up
Anyone wanting to go aways on regular basis may best try some of the local supporters clubs.but you got to be prepared to go say a away match on a Tuesday in the league cup at say QPR you can't cherry pick games...

The system doesn’t really work. I go to all the home cup games and I’ve got a ST. The only way I’ve managed to get to an away game recently is by buying a spare. So I don’t get a credit for going but the person selling it to me does. The answer eventually will be a system that tickets are linked to individuals and can’t be passed on.

You have supporters clubs who get a certain number. They then give them to their mates for the big games. It needs an overhaul.

No chance that is ever happening here imo. Imagine them trying to go to the 2000 fans with full credits 'listen, your loyalty over decades is being wiped out and we're going to put you into a ballot with everyone else, and by the way you have to pay £50 for the privilege', a bit of a hard sell for the club that one
Not convinced.

The Clubs and people within the game have been exploiting fans for decades.

Say in a few years we were doing better and the club did try that. What would those 2K do? They'd probably grudgingly pay it or risk losing out.

And there would be enough fans to take up the newly available tickets.

It's not right but sadly the way things seem to be going. The fans are powerless to stop it until there are mass boycotts across the country.

What may happen in the future is, as they are doing for home games, going digital. If you transfer your away ticket to someone else, you will lose that credit. I know some aways are digital but it is easy to transfer tkts atm. I have a few credits, basically going to midweek away cup games and all home cup games.

The problem you have is the club aren't going to just start again from scratch and swerve people who haven't missed a game for decades are they? I think you over estimate the amount of spares that are sold on but it does happen. 9 of us do actually go to them all so I wouldn't be against a portion of the allocation having to be collected at the venue with ID, that would root out a few who are selling them on but it would be a pain in the arse for the club and I don't think they would be bothered doing it. When we were last in Europe in Krasnodar and Kiev you had to collect the tickets over there in person to get the credit so it has happened before.
Ruzomberok too...

The system isn't unfair, its as fair as it can possibly be. It rewards those who go all the time, which is how it should be.

It's no different to the system the club have just used for distributing season tickets at Bramley Moore, based on a loyalty criteria.
I don't believe it's the same folk going all the time. It's the same folk buying the tickets and building up a history of purchase and then distributing them via various freinds and networks.

Nonsense.
Definitely not nonsense. I can say that with 100% certainty having been the recipient of various away game tickets from various freinds and networks. It's who you know.
I'm sure there are some folk that buy the tickets and go to every game, but not all. The way they sell them persuades you to buy them whether you can go or not to ensure you keep maximum credits. I would do the same.
Honestly can't think of a different 'fairer' way to sell the tickets though.

Again though, that's no different to the home games. Only difference is the club and everybody else is fine with using an official resell partner for home matches
