Night out

I know to be honest all this bollocks is putting me of the forum. I have no time for pub bores left or right giving their stupid political opinions in pubs, and this place is becoming the same.

You're right there mate.

Vast majority of people in UK are not members of a political party and neither party stands for alleged principles they were founded on, Labour don't care about poor, Tories aren't socially conservative. Most American voters, vote based on negative partizanship, not endorsement of actual policies.

It's like some bellend turned Diogo Jota thread into a diatribe about Palestine, that had nothing to do with thread. Most American voters, vote based on negative partizanship, not endorsement of actual policies. So somehow a light hearted thread about pubs in town, has something to do with Trump and Brexit, Jesus, Mary, Joseph and his effin Donkey. My advice to OP, would avoid City Centre and go to Lark Lane, Penny Lane, West Derby Village or Woolton Village. Better pints, and less coked up idiots. Honestly I'm waiting for someone to bring up Slavery or Holocaust in Nathan Patterson thread to add icing on cake, of recent bellendery on here.
I love Woolton Village, mate. I was living on Greensbridge Lane in Halewood, so it wasn’t far from me.

Classy place, friendly and welcoming, will visit again.

Do you know if the steak house is still there? Not sure what the place is called now, unfortunately.

There's still one in the village, although I haven't been in a while. There's a superb Indian called Holdi, next to Sainsbury's.

Admittedly had a bad day, had to listen to some bellend moaning that he was single due to feminism and leave WhatsApp group due to constant rubbish posted on there. GOT has cheered me up in some of my darkest times, some great threads over years. Just recently people's political point scoring on here has done my head in, but I apologise for going on rant.

Go on, admit it, it's done me the world of good :

What are your views on Palestine?
Personally not a fan of Israeli side or Palestinians. Don't like either of them. To be honest most people who are Pro Israeli or Pro Palestinian have no clue about who they're supporting. I seen videos on YouTube of Israelis saying they view non Jews as cattle or dogs. No to mention believing they're God's chosen people and that entitles someone from Brooklyn land in West Bank. Heard countless Palestinians praising Hitler, add to that believing Gays aren't human. A group of aggressive colonizers supported by America on 1 side and backward Anti Semites, sexists and Homophobes on other supported by Iran a country that oppresses Kurds, Gays and Women on the other.
