New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

How do we replicate the Goodison atmosphere that helped maintain our status as a Premier League club?

If anything, the atmosphere should be better. The crowd is bigger, for one. And the acoustics are better than those of Goodison.
I don't think it needs replicating as such, but rather we need to make BMD our home and with that the atmosphere should naturally build by itself.

I think at the start there may be some difficulties until fans find their feet within their new seats, and people gel together. It's all going to be very new.

And those "craft" and "premium" beers are probably Budweiser and coors?

No, not at all. It's actually an extensive selection of great beers from local breweries: https://dcbeer.com/2025/03/26/2025-nats-park-beer-guide/

The days when America was a beer wasteland are 30 years in the past. I've been all over the world -- and was over on your side of the pond for some footy just this past April (didn't make it up to Merseyside, though) -- and no country in the world competes with the US in terms of beer quality and variety these days.

The concrete is too grey
The crests are good and all that but there should be more
The lettering is off centre
The seats should have logos incorporated
The advertising boards should be on both levels
The disabled access spaces are too big
The pitch is too green
The sky is too blue
The river is too wet

And on
And on
And on it goes.

Cryarsing for cryarsings sake.
I thought they were going to install advertising boards at mid level on 3 sides?

It feels like some on here will only be happy once the whole bleeding thing is painted blue and covered in Everton crests. Yes it’s our stadium and yes we play in blue, doesn’t mean the whole thing needs to scream Everton.

The brickwork and bare concrete is an aesthetic choice by the architect which I personally think looks brilliant. Often, less is more. I hope the crests on each corner is as far as they go with the Everton branding. Let’s not make it look tacky.

I agree it should be subtle. For the ones who want the branding, I expect the banners that hang from the posts in the fan plaza will make it seem more homely.

Is this a recent thing? a pint in a Greene King around here costs a fiver nowadays.

I believe we only won 5 league games out of 19 at goodison last season

I doubt we could do much worse in a brand new stadium

My only concern on that is the number of people who've gone for the south stand who usually were top balc bullens or park end.

I'm sure most of them will be up for it, but I know a few oldies who don't know what they're getting themselves into with the safe standing option.
