Manchester United

Donated and raised millions for the homeless, donated £4m to Covid efforts, used his platform to force the government to make a U turn on a policy designed to ensure children starve because they didn’t fancy paying for it and also bought those kids dinner. Just general villainy

Thats impressive, especially the £4mil.

tbf Zats specialism aren't keeping track of kids.

They're not closing the gap, it's widening.

Be interesting over time to see how sustainable this all is.

All they've done is start to carve out a niche for themselves as the super-glamorous, but super-mad club.

A new seat filling service

News has started to leak out of Man United that they’re considering setting up a debenture scheme for season ticket holders.

That means that on top of paying for your seat for the season you have to pay a fee just to be allowed to buy it.

The Telegraph has a good story today on the subject - which indicates this debenture fee would be around £4k.

Club whispers, though, suggest this is the lowest fee that would be levied. It could actually be more like 20-30 times the seat price.

Which means that those in the best seats could be looking at an added reservation fee approaching six figures.
