New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Massive cryarses.
Think the club need to change the motto to 'Nothing We Do Will Be Good Enough'

Keep you shower of miserable moaning arseholes happy
That sums up much of what the club have done over the last 30 years, but lets hope that it will soon move away from that and we can move back towards being one of the top clubs in the country.
I think there could have been a little more effort put into the shop opening on Tuesday, saying it was a soft opening doesn`t mean a bit more thought couldn`t have gone into it. There was no need for such a long queuing system and some of the barriers could have been used to barrier off a bigger space on the plaza and they could of had a coffee van and a chip van there with a bit of seating area to give folks a place to hang around for a while, make it look a little bit busier.

The concrete is too grey
The crests are good and all that but there should be more
The lettering is off centre
The seats should have logos incorporated
The advertising boards should be on both levels
The disabled access spaces are too big
The pitch is too green
The sky is too blue
The river is too wet

And on
And on
And on it goes.

Cryarsing for cryarsings sake.

The concrete is too grey A common problem
The crests are good and all that but there should be more Less is more
The lettering is off centre It is, no argument
The seats should have logos incorporated Yes, they should
The advertising boards should be on both levels They will be, work started
The disabled access spaces are too big Only the able think that
The pitch is too green Impossible
The sky is too blue Rarely
The river is too wet Always

Cant believe the amount of foot stamping and moaning about this magnificent thing. We really do deserve absolutely nothing good to happen to us as a fanbase given the attitude of some around here.
I just cant wait to get over for a game and experience it. Who knows when I will be able to get back again. I am going to savour every single moment. What a place!!!

Between this, the transfer thread and panic about pre-season friendly results, July really brings out the worst in Evertonians.

Kind of has to have been, too.

If they'd have given it too much fanfare, they'd have been anxious that people would conflate stadium store opening with stadium opening.

Then it'd become a giant crowd control exercise with people wanting to get round to Everton Way, get onto the stepped plaza etc.

That is actually a good point. As I mentioned earlier, it is a relocated shop, a minor and obvious part of a much bigger thing. There was no need to have a big fanfare about this.

There would have had to have been a month long communication (at least) to ensure that it is only the shop opening, and then people would still rock up thinking they could go anywhere on the grounds, and maybe even inside the stadium.

A nice understated launch, soft launch, of a relocated shop. More than likely to calmly test the tills, the logistics, etc.

What people are really waiting for is the gates to open so we can wander round the site at our leisure.

I'm certainly waiting for that. Will pop into the shop when I go then.
