New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Cryarsing has infested this thread from the transfer thread is I see, sad really.

If you can’t be excited about BMD and are able to find fault everywhere you wish to look, then I don’t think there’s any helping you.

Hurry to and sign some players Everton, if only to shut up the cryarsing, moaning, nega-bores constantly screaming at the sky.
You know whoever signs will only be the wrong type / profile though right?

I’ve said a few times about the shop. I personally thought it should of been open for the at least the second test event but hey ho.

I think it’s typical Everton to not make it as spectacular as it should have been. There should have been at least a ribbon to cut, it should have been open on a Saturday allowing everyone to go rather than a week day. There should have been at least someone from the club there whether past or present. Also, the first 50 kids or whatever through the door should have got a goody bag, a certificate, a hat, a key ring, whatever.

From what I have seen it looks good but they always have a way of not making anything as exciting as it should be. Even the last season at Goodison was weak.

Just remember people that this is a relocation if an existing shop. Not a new extra shop like Everton Two was.

What is the basis for people's expectations that there should have been a massive event for the relocation of the shop? The key clue to how this was going down was the fact it was a Tuesday.

We all know that if there was a bigger giveaway, it still would not have been good enough for some? If there were players there, it would have been the wrong players, not enough players or maybe even demanding that there should have been a former player there. If there was a bigger fanfare, it would still not have been good enough for some of those that are moaning.

I get that opinions differ but the negativity over the past couple of weeks has gotten out of hand. Go outside, have some fun. More to life than whether a shop gives away free stuff, or whether there is an escalator or lift.

It feels like some on here will only be happy once the whole bleeding thing is painted blue and covered in Everton crests. Yes it’s our stadium and yes we play in blue, doesn’t mean the whole thing needs to scream Everton.

The brickwork and bare concrete is an aesthetic choice by the architect which I personally think looks brilliant. Often, less is more. I hope the crests on each corner is as far as they go with the Everton branding. Let’s not make it look tacky.
