But it is abundantly clear we do need to speed up our acquisition process if only to afford new players time to settle in and gel with the other squad members. It is also abundantly clear that I, certainly, and most others among us have little idea what is really going on behind the scenes so tend to jump at any scraps the so called 'informed' media sources put out there when we should know better. As a concerned citizen, I'm hoping that things fall in to place before the start of the season, although this summer I reckon we'll go all the way to deadline day before we complete all signings. Or I'll be joining bedwetting anonymous.
I saw less consternation each time we were on the doorstep of relegation.
