That headline could've been 'Ozzy Osbourne has died, "surrounded by drugs" at the age of 24'.
The fact he made it to 76 is insane.
Love that he got his farewell the other week. Like hunter s Thompson, he was a prototype of man and the world will be duller without him.

I saw Ozzy live more times than anyone else. Partly because I liked his stuff and partly because he and Sharon were not afraid to pair him with top notch support bands.
He could never be considered a great singer but he was a great vocalist and could always reproduce it live when many couldn’t. And of course, not many people can claim to have invented any music genre let alone one that is still going strong 55 years later. The word legend is massively overused in modern popular culture but there is no doubt Ozzy was a legend.
