As an aside: I thought that England team made lots of dangerous challenges there tonight that should have been punished. Two or three incidents of studs down the achilles of the opposition (a couple of them from the Kopite Greenwood, btw), and Bronze's challenge near the end barging into an Italian player was reckless.

Slow start again but thought we were the better team in the second half and again the subs made the difference. Italy played well, especially their defence and keeper but think we deserved it on balance. It’s not luck having good players off the bench to change a game.

I think if we play Spain in the final they will be favourites, especially if James is injured. Germany I think it’s a closer call. But we have a really good chance of going back to back.
