Night out

Go round hope street mate, be more relaxed. Also know some took the piss with the gaybars but have been to some of them with the missus and mates and always had a laugh. More chilled out no drama in them, plus go out to enjoy self than pull so not a problem. Personally would avoid concert square and williamson square ways.
Cheers mate. Yeah, ultimately, I’m just there to bring back memories and feel like I’m close to my old man again. I think I’ve been to one of them squares can’t remember which one it was though. We loved the horse racing and always went out for Cheltenham, that was one of the places we went during the day and I remember being told on the night time it could get really rough.

I’ve got no issues with gay bars ;)

Thread open over an hour and no shout for the Lisbon. This place has went to the dogs.

I was going to, honest, but someone recently sent a rather large complaint about this specifically.

Can you confirm if someone complained because the Lisbon keeps on being mentioned, or because of the delay, as they lost valuable time sampling the delights there?

Went up to the Blackburne Arms on Catherine Street the other evening.
It's a 'Gastro pub' now which makes my teeth itch and my toes curl before I even get in, but it was still the same sociable drinker and the food was ok.
Mind, the prices are city centre, so they can't be described as 'sociable'.
It's a decent place to drop anchor for a few before you move on.

Never did I think to see that day where hairy ersed drinkers up the top end would be the kind of place that served Halloumi chips and Otter's Armpit beer and then charge you 50 nicker for a plate of something that you could chase off on to the floor if you sprinkler too much vinegar and salt on it and 2 pints of sludge.
