I know it's down to licensing but you'd think Umbro (especially given their UK operation is owned by Castore) would be keen to lend their logo to the retro 80's and 90's shirts. They just don't seem the same without it.

It’s not about Castore or anyone lending the logos to them, sadly. Score Draw have just cornered the market on retro remakes with loopholes

Even if Castore or Umbro or Le Coq said “yes, put the logos on the remakes,” score draw still wouldn’t

When we had LCS making our kit not so long ago all the retro `84,`85 and `86 gear had the logo on them, so there must be an issue since we are now Castore supplied.

No way all the concrete ends up blue. If they were going to paint anything underfoot blue, would surely have to have been done pre-test event. If done badly it could be an ice rink when wet. If there was a plan to put grip paint on step-ends, again it would have been done surely before all tests. The bland colour of the steps up to exits will disappear when humans are in there. There will be fixed and digital ad boards, ideally something on the horizontal wall splitting the levels. But even that will just get covered in flags.

The disabled section in the south stand attracting complaints? I’m not against allowing disabled blues the chance to be in that end at the expense of what people expected of the shouty stand. Does it really matter what it looks like on the telly compared to your seat if it benefits possibly a someone who was a season ticket holder since before your parents were born get in there safely with zero inconvenience to anyone else at all.

Best complaint by a county mile so far is that Garners free kick bounced out too far from the goal after hitting the net.

Some of my favourite memories of Everton as a kid are watching the Street End erupt when a goal goes in. God knows how many times I've watched back Ferguson's winner against United in 05.

You are right that in the grand scheme of things it's a small complaint but it does look bizarre and completely ruins the aesthetic of the stand that was supposed to be a wall of blue. It's gone from being what was supposed to be one of the most iconic stands in the country to a bit of a damp squib.

Hate to be critical but the store opening and fit out looks shambolic.
Once in a lifetime opportunity and we look like amateurs.
There should have been free stuff and discounts and the store should have been ready with signage.
It looks like a pop up shop. Absolutely embarrassing. FFS Everton.

I said previously in the thread that I was in Bilbao the other week and Athletic's museum on the history of that club and what it meant to the people of the city was fantastic. There's an opportunity for us to something similar here but sad to say I have very little faith.
