Crazy to see these comments regarding set pieces in friendlies.

I'd be surprised if they have spent 5 minutes on set pieces training this summer. Now training is all about volume and there will be plenty of time to focus on set pieces closer to the start of the season. When they know what the team will look like. And when they don't do 8-10 subs per match.

Training set pieces and start over again from scratch every time we sign a new player would we a waste of everyone's time.

I think he and Beto will rotate and he will play across the front. Guy is rapid. Can probably play a lot of roles and cause matchup problems

His underlying stats, which are roughly all we can judge him on so far are fairly good and very much fit the mould of what we would want in an Everton striker. I'm looking forward to seeing him play and causing chaos. His aerial ability should really help, aswell as his athleticism and physicality which the PL prides itself on these days.
