Pre Season Matches.

I see port vale have released their lineup and subs on their website but no info on ours.

Considering the size of our media team compared to theirs, seems pretty poor to me.

If it gives me another reason to argue for Prentice out then I’m fine with it.
Is it because it was behind closed doors do you think? I don't know if we normally hear what the teams are when its b c d.

Im not expecting a team sheet an hour before like a PL game.

However, Port Vale with its much more limited resources provided its fans with an in depth write up accompanied by their first half team and second half team.

The fact they fielded completely different teams in each half and we only won 2-1 could be alarming on its own…

I am concerned about these next three games in America. We don't have enough senior players to get through the matches, especially with the likely very warm conditions. There have also been some issues in the past with the pitches at these venues, particularly at Metlife. So I hope we don't end up with injuries due to players being overworked.

And our only solution to help prevent injuries is to rotate and use young players and squad players who we know will never play for us in the league. It's frustrating to see players get a lot of minutes when we know they won't be part of the plans during the season.

It's a very bad situation to be in at this stage of pre-season, and I don't think it is going to go well. Serious questions need to be asked of the recruitment team at this point, as to why they did not have a number of players lined up before the start of pre-season when they knew how few players we have. I don't see any plan or strategy here and I don't understand how we expect to start a season well with this squad. We need more players than the other clubs around us, so we can't compare our recruitment so far with other teams.

I think the games will go better than some are fearing in all honesty, we’re a game ahead in fitness on Bournemouth, 2 ahead on West Ham and likewise on United

We have Barry to come in, likely debuting on Saturday, JP will make his first appearance of pre season at the weekend and could possibly have Tarks back playing by the end of the tour
