Feel like the worry has snowballed by more and more people jumping on it.

Did anyone REALLY expect us to replace every outgoing player? Ifbyou do you're not signing quality, youre signing quantity, and you end up in the same position.

Weve got 3 weeks before the season starts and for me, id rather us not just burn money for the sake of burning it. If we've got targets and they're not available yet, then wait. If they dont, then you wait, and the following summer there's more in the FFP pot.

If we Panic and just sign any random player and it doesnt work, it isn't going to help us, is it?

Two big signings in Barry & Alcaraz. A huge renewal in Branthwaite. Id say its not even been a bad window.

The problem is that we need quantity. Our squad was small already last year and we lost like 10 senior players

We need about 4 more signings just to be able to fill a match day squad with senior players. We need about 2 more on top of that to cover for inevitable injuries, suspensions, and players out of form

We can't just wait to next summer when we have about 14 senior outfield players

I have been lamenting the similarity of this brand new dawn with some of our past brand new dawns that transpired to be a continuation of the long dark nights. I typify the “it’s the hope that kills you” syndrome, I fall for it every time. I so much want to see this club at the upper end of the league and to be involved in the business end of cup competitions that I buy into any proposed change of fortunes that might see us progressing. I still believe that Moyes and FTG will improve us but my belief is waning as each day passes and we still fail to address the gaps in talent within our squad.

We haven’t replaced what little quality walked out of the door last season yet, let alone upgraded. We can’t even fill a first team squad without adding random untested kids who aren’t ready (and my never be).

We fly out to America tomorrow.
That for a lot was a deadline for getting new player in, so they can be ready for the start of the season.

We have already given up on the first month of games, so already written off the potential of Europe before we even start.

Another few weeks of this and top half will be impossible.

I mean we need some players like. If we are carrying 4 or 5 injuries (and there is absolutely nothing unusual in that) then we’d have players out of position and youth players all over the shop.

We do need players. But we've still got just shy of 4 weeks to do that. Just because the players are in USA doesnt mean we wont be working behind the scenes.

So we bring in a load of players like Cuco Martina, just to pad it out? Id rather be patient, let the club see if targets become viable, if not then look to your plan B's and C's.

Surely youre not expecting them to he replaced by Quality though?

Its one summer window, and despite what some media says, we cant spend freely and wildly.

Replacing 11 players in one summer was never going to happen. The fact theyve re-signed 3 of those demonstrated that.

26 days til our opening game. Its no need to panic yet.

Just checked on Senderos and he played in a win against Wigan, as a late sub v Chelsea and as a sub v Sporting Lisbon—- he had only played twice for Arsenal that season before he came here.

I will be made up if either way tbh because it will mean that we never went back and signed him again. The thought of that keeps me up at night.
