New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Definitely a work in progress. We could moan they should have finished it before opening, do that and we would also complain why are they waiting.

Hopefully by Roma they would have sorted the unsightly bits and filled out the walls with more stuff. They are going for the industrial look so to some it will actually never look finished.
Quite a lot of these retail buildings look like this now, it seems to be the way they are designed.

Wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t change much, aside from getting more goods to sell in there.

Who gives a shiny Barry white if they do.

They are apoplectic with jealousy over the new gaff mate, they know what it means for us and the city, and it kills them that the club have managed to get it done.
The stadium, yes.

That club shop should have been fitted out way better than that.

I dunno what people are expecting decor wise. It doesn't exactly set my pulse racing either, but it's meant to be functional nothing else. They are not going to furnish it with Chesterfields and vintage mahogany apothecary tables are they?!?!? (Little friends reference there for the gen x-ers)
Not only this, I imagine when other events/ concerts etc are on they will utilise some of the space to set up their own inventory etc and who knows maybe someone going in will buy club merchandise too

Exactly 👍 tbf if I was the club I'd have a much smaller maybe old skool style shop in that west stand selling high end gear, signed shirts etc etc aimed at the tory's over there and tourists with deep pockets. Now that you COULD deck out like a gentleman's club with brass busts of Dixie Deans head 😂

The little grabber machines look a cool novelty for the kids, but I imagine the store won't be anything mind blowing decor wise, huge airy and industrial looking inside like a million other shops.

No doubt it'll be busy match day, but they'll have to be creative to get footfall on non matches days in the short term as the area is still slightly disconnected from town.

Things like discount offers in the restaurants if you spend X in store, discounts if you also book a tour etc etc should be the bare minimum
grabber machine was only if you bought the away top/kit and you got a token!

Definitely looks like a wholesalers warehouse rather than a “shop”. Won’t be to everyone’s taste obviously but it is what it is.
