Boxing

His record is unmatched.

European, World and Olympic Heavyweight champion, then collects all the cruiserweight then heavyweight belts, twice and remains undefeated in a land of giants against boxers with several stones of weight advantage on him.

You would need to be blind not to see it.

Looking at old footage takes away the mystique of the past.

One of the things I love about him is the no drama approach. Literally went to every champions backyard, beat them up and took their belt.

Its not Usyks fault, but the heavyweights he beat arent anywhere near all time greats. However, Usyk would be a match for anyone. A southpaw with that level of skill would be a nightmare for anyone.

Dont think they/we underestimate him, i think its more to do with the majority of the best heavyweights are British and they all are bigger than him with attributes that could, on paper, cause damage.

Only chance Dubois had was the hope Usyk's age played a factor and he tagged him with a big right. Neither happened but could've.

Which re-enforces just how good Usyk is. Hes also undefeated and unified at 2 weights.

He's a cruiserweight basically thats taken heavyweights belts. Its interesting reading the debate about where he goes in the History books at heavyweight level. The fascinating fight for me was usyk/fury. Now i dont put fury down as one of the heavyweight greats. Not even close. A few fights against deontay wilder does nothing for him. I thought he was on top of usyk mainly because of his size and weight advantage. What makes usyk so great is he worked out after 5 or 6 rounds how to overcome that.
Its all about opinions, but that doesnt happen in my one with some of the true heavyweights in the past like lennox lewis larry holmes riddick bowe george foreman and quite a few more. i think usyk would have held his own but he wouldnt have remained undefeated. He's beat whats in front of him now. But most arent that great.
A fight id have loved to have seen was usyk against evander holyfield. Two genuine cruiserweight greats.

I love Usyk but nothing will convince me he would beat Tyson in his prime.

Man was an absolute beast.
We will never know mate.
He has beaten what's in front of him, that all he can do.
The fighters of the past had better opponents than he has,
Likes of Tyson, Lewis, Holmes, Holyfield, Forman in there prime were totally different level to anything around today, but he more than likely would give them a fight , don't think he would beat them all if any ?
But we will never know he is the best of his time.
Hopefully he will walk away soon before age catches up with him or a lucky shot.

Simon Jordan says dubois and his dad threw a party at his house on the afternoon of the fight for 70 people. That's why he was late.

What?!?

Duke mackenzie slaughtered him aswell for turning up at wembley an hour and half before the fight. Called him unprofessional.
Not sure it would have made a difference mind.
