I have no interest in them or how they have to shuffle around and would prefer to keep Guehi. However, he’s off now for £‘ss or next season for free. Them, Spurs and Chelsea are the only ones who have expressed a serious interest and he, for some unaccountable reason, would seem to prefer there.

I had a beer with a couple of mates and one of them is a RS ST holder another armchair there as well.

In conversation I mentioned how they’d spent a few quid , Jesus the response ! The lad was like puma jumping on that one . How they had it to spend, how they’d spent nothing for years etc . It was a throwaway comment but they are not comfortable with that conversation. Personally they don’t get it , can’t figure out why it upsets them other than they built themselves up to be plucky lil RS.

Their entire image as a club now is built on the plucky underdog fighting the good fight against the evil, super rich clubs. Their collective ego rests on that vision. They simply can't tolerate any conversations about their spending, as the house of cards quickly collapses.
