Florence could do with a loan to the Butty Van outside for a year to get some tea minutes in the tank.

Well, the one thing I don't want is any unsustainable spending.

Feel a bit sorry for Villa now, it's like "you've had your fun, now go back to the Europa League for a season or two and continue to fall back down the table".

That is soul destroying.

I'm not saying I wouldn't have swapped with them over recent seasons but when you see the amounts being spent at the top you realise what a closed shop it is.

Manure can drop £120m to fix that and forget about it, and do it again. Villa and Everton cannot.

We go through this every July without fail.

Every year I say don't judge us until the transfer window closes. No one ever pays any attention to my wise words.

This year we KNOW that the club is intent on making several more signings. Why not just relax and enjoy the ride.

Some of these signings will inevitably be loans, and as always, with some loan signings it won't be possible to seal a deal until late in the transfer window.

Obviously we'd all like to see at least a handful more key signings before the season starts. Maybe that will happen. There's still time.

Is anyone concerned we are unconcerned here? Or is it of the upmost concern to ask the question why we are not concerned enough about the Concerned thread in the Unconcernrd thread that people are concerned there is a thread in the first place statimg people are unconcerned? Or do we all just sit on a throne of lies?

Two separate threads where everyone in them can congratulate each other on how they all agree on the same thing. Sounds like a win win for all concerned, or unconcerned. However can each stay out of the others thread? Of course not. We all want people to agree with our own point of view and when they don't it causes heads to implode.

I actually agree with you but can totally see where the people who are concerned are coming from. It's the same pattern as every year. Maybe that's just how things are.
