I remember seeing this on TOTP when I was but a lad.
Asks me Dad.."so who's this fella then?"
Family...."erm, a black man in clink, South Africa maybe?"
Me the next day to History teacher "who's this Nelson Mandela then?"
Luckily he was a grand, elbow patch wearing leftie who was more than pleased that I'd taken an interest and then. bit by bit indoctrinated me until I joined MI5 and leaked all the UK's secrets to the Soviet Union.

I've been searching through my endless LP boxes these last days and came across it and had forgotten all about them.
Played it and thought....yeah, can see why I bought that.
Think it must've been a John Peel inspired buy.

My favourite band as a teenager, me and some mates followed them round in a grotty van from Liverpool to Manchester and down to Digbeth Irish Centre in Birmingham and beyond.
The least hygienic and skintest time of my life, but the best laughs and experiences ever.
