New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Why is he a "controversial" marquee owner, and what is the difference between that and a simple marquee owner?

He is a Reform supporter

He's building on the land without planning permission

He's using the names and likenesses of the players in the Holy Trinity without consulting the families/ignoring their want to discuss it

That council need burning if they hand any permission for anything to him.
To be honest I am more concerned with how it looks than anything else. Away fans rocking up and asking us why our brand new stadium is surrounded by a tent, and what appears to be some sliced up shipping containers. I was hoping that some beautiful things would be surrounding our new home.

It will take 5-10 years (maybe sooner if we get our act together on the pitch) before the surrounding area starts to look good. Just a simple fact of where we've chosen to build but yeah, we don't need a tent. It's very League 1.

All of which is bad in my book - but then you see this - and he wants this deathtrap to be open to fans for the Roma game, too:

Look at the state of that roof 'repair', FFS.

That and the craptastic Brexit tent tells you everything you need to know about how this grifter views Evertonians.

Even if he's somehow able to defy the odds and get these places open, I don't intend to ever give him a penny.

That is a seamless repair, you can't even tell which bit is old and which bit is new. Very sympathetic restoration.

Couldn't really care less about that to be honest. It's not the club putting it up and it's outside of their control, what's the issue.
If nobody uses it it won't be up long, if they do then it obviously wasn't such a bad idea putting it up, that's how these things work.

That is dreadful. Bloody hell.
