Rice - what’s yer go-to?



Does it have crispy onions or have I made that up?

Yeah it can do, Persia is obviously very big so there are regional versions. For mine I have to make like a spiced egg mixture and mix it in with the rice, and put parsley/pomegranate salad on it. But some are much more plain looking. I have Syria, Palestine, Iran, Persia cook books and they are all slightly different but fairly similar outcomes

I have cookbook called Bazzaar I think (I have many) it’s definitely food from the region. Will look tomorrow at the rice dishes
