Last Film You Watched

"No address ", I wish I could say something to encourage people to watch it, a film about homelessness in the US, the acting is worse than Mark Wahlberg, they are the cleanest, most polite people you will ever meet and it has a really syrupy ending, it's a well meaning project but there is absolutely nothing to keep people's interest

I bought a DVD of Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs off a lad in the pub, and settled down to watch it last night with the in-laws.

Not five minutes in to it, I realised it was the porno version, Cloudy With a Chance of Blue Balls. It was an extremely awkward 90 minutes but to be fair, the plot held my attention throughout.

No, not a typical reaction to the transfer demands thread...

I'm Genuinely HYPED for Friday night, never been as hyped as I have for marvel since Endgame.

F4 looks really really good.

Thunderbolts before it was seriously underrated also, loved that movie.

Black Sabbath (1963)
I felt it was due time to watch this, especially considering it's impact on the metal genre. And it's quite the typical anthology film, where the story including the major star was by far the best one (just like Peter Cushing's part in Tales from the Crypt). Boris Karloff completely stole the show, as soon as he appeared in the second story, which was an enjoyable vampire tale. This one was thick with gothic horror atmosphere. Absolutely loved the outdoor visuals here. This is exactly what I want from this era of horror. The story in itself was nothing mindblowing, but that's fine.

The first and third stories were perfectly watchable, but not nearly as memorable. I feel like 75% of the budget of the entire film went into the part with Karloff.

7/10

This might be of use to people on here. A guy has over 1000 films on his Google drive, and you can watch/download them through his spreadsheet here
