I think we end up playing a fluid system of 3 in behind the striker. We will need a right back to replace or challenge Patterson for this system.

I suspect Moyes wants a front 3 that are mostly interchangeable with fullbacks providing the width. You can tell we have worked with Myko on his crosses towards the end and O'Brien did get forward a fair bit in the back 4 but really back 5. Ideally you want versatility and the ability to win matchups. Ndiaye is our water carrier/iso baller that looked to be improving on the creative front towards the end of the season. He really needs to work on his passing/striking technique as I feel that part of his game is by far his weakest right now. He will be a top 4 baller if he improves those.
