Finally starting on TLOU Season 2. Had been waiting for all of the episodes to drop. Heard it got a lot of mixed reviews but so far think it's been sound two episodes in..

On recommendation, I`ve just finished series 4 of 6 - The Expanse.

I knew nothing about it when I first started it and after getting through a ropey first series, it`s gone on to be one of the best ever sc-fi`s I`ve watched.

If pure space sc-fi is your thing, then you`ll love this.

Full write up when I`ve finished the lot.

I tried this for 2 or 3 seasons.

That was a really hard watch. The main couple of characters (white guy + black woman) were so off putting.

Massive drop off from season 1.

However, still enough interest for a season 3.

The latina chick is a good actress which thankfully balances out the dreadful main character.

Started watching "Dexter: Resurrection". So far, so bad. I've only seen the first episode and it stunk the place out, so hoping it will pick up.

Took me about 3 goes to get into the early parts,but I binged it then and was sorry when it ended.

I struggled with the first series.

I thought the sets and CGI were poor, as was the writing and acting, but I`d been told to keep going as it would get much better and it did.

Happy is one of the most brilliant off the wall things of all time.

It’s a very brave piece of tv too, as imagine trying to sell that storyline to a tv company !

Just started the Lincoln Lawyer series written by the same author as Harry Bosch & Ballard which were brilliant - the actor who played Harry Bosch was supposed to be the private investigator in the Lincoln Lawyer - Amazon stopped him appearing in the Lincoln Lawyer on Netflix ....

I managed to watch the first 3 though I spent the last 2 scrolling on my phone. Absolutely awful. It makes no sense.

I agree about the drop off between seasons 1 and 2 for The Last of Us. Seems the entire thrust of the show, which was to figure out how to kill mushroom people and survive that as well as it growing in pipes below the town, was replaced by the thrusting between Ellie and Dina. The whole storyline disappeared. I know it’s following the game. But every time certain death rears it’s ugly head, and any normal human being would be frozen with terror and screaming, they make out and digitally enjoy the other for a few minutes.
