New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

It's a bit strange the North Stand as there's no turnstiles in it. Unless you're heading to the family bit or the West Stand I doubt anybody will be walking up that way pre match.

It does seem at the moment if it rains and you're on premises the only option is go inside or get wet.

Think the idea is to separate the away fans by making home fans walk around. They could have easily whacked in a few turnstiles at the North West corner but chose not to. I can still see plenty of our fans going that way though, unless they do fence that whole section off.

There is plenty of space under the south stand upper concourse so I would guess people will head there if it's raining, but like you've put, in that case you may as well go inside. The prices in the fan zone will presumably be similar to inside the stadium.

I don't think Friedkin (in attendance or not) would be happy with that. I would like to see Moshiri at a game though, (I heard he has a box?).

If that's the case then I think he would generally be well received and would be delighted to acknowledge it, too. There was never any questioning of his good intentions.
Bless.

The stadium will give us an immediate financial boost this year but it also proves the opportunity to capitalise if we can improve the team to become competitive in the chase for Europe and trophies. Creating that virtuous circle between facility and squad improvement is tricky (some succeed, many have failed) but if we can pull it off all our frustrations with the current lack of internal branding will dissipate.
