Indian takeaway - either onion or keema

Chinese - special or egg fried (has to have a dark colour) or in the bin

I've made Persian rice a few times now. I was scared for ages as every time you read about it, they make it sound like the most scared thing ever so I was sacred it was really difficult and I CBA to mess up the main event .It wasn't too bad in the end though, and it looks amazing and is a proper show stopper
